Questions

Does it work with Plex?

Hectic TV doesn’t sign in to Plex. If your setup publishes live TV as an M3U or HLS link, you can add that like any other playlist.

Which stream types play?

HLS (.m3u8) and standard files like MP4 and MKV. RTMP, RTSP and UDP aren’t supported, so use an HLS output.

Does it phone home?

No. Hectic TV collects no data and has no analytics.

Hectic TV is a media player only. It does not include, sell or recommend any channels, playlists or streams; the only content it offers itself is five openly licensed sample films and public-domain titles from the Internet Archive. Add only content you have the right to watch.
