Delete your account and data

Hectic TV has no accounts, so there is no account to close. Your playlists, logins, favourites and watch history live on your own devices and in your own iCloud or Google Drive. You can delete all of it yourself at any time, using the steps below. Hectic TV is owned by Hectic Software Ltd (company number 17514067).

iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch

Delete the Hectic TV app. This removes everything stored on that device.
If you used iCloud sync (Hectic TV Pro): go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage (or iCloud Storage) → Hectic TV → Delete Data. This removes your library from your private iCloud database.
Xtream Codes passwords are kept in your iCloud Keychain. Remove them in the Passwords app by searching for the server address.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Android phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV

Delete the Hectic TV app, or go to Settings → Apps → Hectic TV → Storage → Clear storage. This removes everything stored on that device.
If you turned on Google Drive sync: open drive.google.com on a computer → Settings (gear) → Manage apps → Hectic TV → Options → Delete hidden app data. Then choose Disconnect from Drive.
Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. Cancel in the Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Data on our servers

TV pairing: details sent from your phone to a TV are deleted as soon as the TV collects them, and after 2 minutes at most. Unused codes expire after 10 minutes. There is nothing left to delete.
Beta reports: crash and feedback reports from test builds hold no name, email or device ID and are deleted automatically after 30 days. To have them removed sooner, email us the app version and the rough date and time you sent it.
Website help assistant: questions are not stored.

If you want us to confirm that we hold nothing about you, or delete anything sooner, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”. We reply within 30 days, and deletion requests are free. We will never ask for your playlist logins.
